This morning, USA Today profiled CrimeReports and a handful of other crime mapping companies in a story about the recent proliferation of public-facing crime mapping across the US.
Not only does the story feature some great information on CrimeReports from our CEO, Greg Whisenant and Police Chief Ron Davis, of the East Palo Alto, Calif. Police Department, but it also briefly covers the way that the Elk River, Minn., Police department used our web-based maps to zero-in on a number of car burglaries and catch the thieves in the act.
