Human Trafficking on the Rise in Recession

The US State Department just released its 2009 Trafficking in Persons Report. The report states that human trafficking, including forced labor, prostitution, and stolen organs, currently involves 12.3 million adult and child victims worldwide, and has been on the rise since the world economy has worsened.
